Photo Challenge Day 10

Recently I took a walk with my mother through a park called Powder Valley.  This is a quiet, peaceful place right in the heart of St. Louis County where you can sometimes see deer and other wildlife.  This was one of my favorite places to walk when I lived in St. Louis

I get my best exercise and mental recharging from walking in nature.  I find it restores my soul as it strengthens my body.

A bit of trivia:  the park is named Powder Valley because, during the Civil War, this is where gun powder was stored.
